In my dream, I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of my dog barking. As I got up, the dog suddenly stopped barking. My father was up as well and he looked outside, but couldn't see anything. He then told me to go outside by myself to check up on the dog, which I was hesitant to go by myself and asked if he could come with me. He told me he couldn't come with me, but to go real quick and come back since it was dark outside. I was hesitant to leave the house, but I did decide to walk out to the dog house. Once I got outside and near the gate to the dog house, I started calling for my dog, but I got no reply. I called again, and still no reply. I looked inside the gate to the dog house and couldn't find our dog. So I decided to open the gate and walk inside. To the left of me was my dog's house, but to the right of me was a dark space that I could not see at all since it was part of the fence that was underneath heavy bush and trees and again, it was night time. Once I stepped inside the gate, I decided to look inside the dog house for the dog. But as I looked inside, I saw nothing but black fur, which was the same color as our dog. I called for him again inside his dog house thinking he was sleeping inside the dog house, but I still got no response. As I stood up from the dog house, I heard a low growl behind me. I was startled, but I thought it was my dog behind me inside the gate with me. But when I turned around, a huge grey wolf that was the same height as me jumped out from the dark side of the gate to the dog house and grabbed my neck with his teeth. I hit the ground and tried to get away from the wolf, but he ended up biting down on my neck even harder. I tried to shout for my father who was still inside the house and nowhere to be seen, but as I shouted, my voice was muffled from the sounds of the wolf growling as well as from having my neck caught in his mouth. I tried to call again, but only a faint squeak came out of my mouth. I struggled against him again, but I still couldn't get up from the ground nor get away from his mouth.
